1. Activationbehavior of 4-AcNH-TEMPO by ClO2 for selective oxidation ofcellulose in DMAc/LiCl system

This study provides an effective route forthe homogeneous selective oxidation of primary hydroxyl groups in cellulose andexplored its oxidation mechanism in DMAc solvent. Furthermore, studies showedthat the reactive chlorine species- ClO•, Cl•, and ClO2 played acrucial role in the oxidation process. The methodology developed here displayedgreat potential to be utilized to various biomolecules in aprotic solventshomogeneous system based on 4-AcNH-TEMPO as oxidationcatalysts.
