Through theresearch, the optimization criterion of microreactor’ geometric construction wasdeveloped for choosing an optimal reactor for reactions 2. Polymerization of isobutylene in the flow reactor We have built a microflow system which is suitable for the research of cationic polymerization.On the microflow platform, we have investigated thecharacteristic of chain reactions initiated by H2O/AlCl3, the polymerization precesses under intensified mixing, the controlledsynthesis of highly reactive polyisobutylenes, and so on.
