Project: Basic research on preparation of high performance Fe3O4-polystyrene composite nanospheres supported palladium catalyst



Magnetic nanoparticle carrier was considered as the bridge to fill in the gap between homogeneity and heterogeneity of NHC-Pd catalyst when applying in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction, as it combines the advantages of lager anchoring site and rapid separation. we prepared a highly effective palladium catalyst, which was immobilized on the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles through a facile method. Based on well-dispersed nanoclusters, with emulsion polymerization, protection polymer shell with even-distributed functional site was obtained.
