Abstract

A new method was developed to study the alcoholysis ofEVA with 32 mol% ethylene content based on in situ FTIR spectroscopy. Thefeasibility and accuracy of this method was carefully studied. A kinetic modelfor predicting reaction rate was obtained using this method. The applicabilityof the kinetic model was further verified by performing flow alcoholysis inmicroflow reactor.
